Easter, Christmas and New Year
Why not visit us for the Easter
break or to take in one of the Christmas markets. We are also open over the Christams and New Year period.
Easter
Why not visit us for the Easter break? We provide hot-cross buns for everyone and Easter eggs for the children. We
will also be organising an Easter egg hunt for all the family. Sam is particularly looking forward
to Easter this year as his fifth birthday falls on Easter Sunday (April 12th). Come and join the party.
Christmas Markets
and Shopping
Christmas markets sping up all over Europe in De cember and Brittany is no exception, with entertainment, shopping and gourmet tasting in historic
settings such as St Malo and Perros-Guirec, and in the larger towns of St Malo, Rennes and Brest. Rennes is a fantatic, vibrant town, mixing modern department stores and boutiques with exceptional
18th century architecture. It also boasts an excellent food market, open every Saturday morning.
In 2008, our local town of Lamballe held an excellent 3-day Christmas Fair in the beautiful setting of the national stud farm. In
addition to the indoor market stalls, the children had a chance to meet Santa or take a ride on a camel, pony or horse
and carriage.

Christmas
Christmas is a magical time of the year in France, with all the local villages decked out in Christmas lights, decorations
and nativety scenes.
As Sam and Evie are only 4 and 2, Christmas is also a special time here at La Touche, and
we try to decorate the place to give it that Christmas feel.
If you join us for the festivities we will provide you with a tree and decorate your gite. We can also provide everything you
need for your Christmas dinner (turkey, veg, Christmas pudding, champagne, crackers, etc.). All you have to do is
cook it!
New Year We will also be open for New Year 2009/2010 and holding a New Year's Eve party
in our fully licenced bar. Why not come and join the fun...?
