By Air
There are a number of airports in Brittany and the region is served by a number
of low-cost airlines. The best options are listed below in order of distance from our gites and with links to the relevant
operators. In addition to these low-cost services, Rennes, Brest, Nantes and Paris are also served by Air France.

Airports serving Brittany
Dinard The
airport at Dinard-Pleurtuit is only 30 minutes drive and is served by Ryanair from London Stansted, Nottingham (East Midlands), Birmingham and
Bristol, and by Aurigny from the Channel Islands.
Rennes Rennes St Jacques is 1 hour from us and is served by Flybe from Edinburgh, Exeter, Manchester, Newcastle and Southampton, and from Belfast in Northern Ireland. The
TGV and local regional train also connects Rennes with Lamballe (our local mainline train station).
Brest Brest is 1 hour 45 drive and is served by Flybe from Belfast, Birmingham, Exeter, Manchester and Southampton. Ryanair fly to London (Luton) and to Dublin. Aer Arann serves Brest and Cork and Aer Lingus serves Dublin.
The TGV also connects Brest with Lamballe (our local train station).
Nantes Nantes Atlantique airport is 2 hours drive and is served by Ryanair from London Stansted, Bournemouth,
Nottingham (East Midlands), Liverpool and from Dublin and Shannon, in Ireland. EasyJet serves Nantes from Gatwick. Aer Arann serves Nantes from Cardiff and Cork.
The TGV connects with Lamballe, but with a change at Redon.
Lorient Lorient airport is 2 hours drive and is served by Aer Arann from Kerry, Galway, Waterford and Cork. The TGV connects with Lamballe, but with a change at Rennes.
Paris The three airports in Paris are about 4 to
5 hours drive but have connections with all UK departure points. The low cost carriers who fly to Paris are:
- bmibaby serves Nottingham (East Midlands).
- easyJet serves Belfast, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, London (Luton) and Newcastle.
- Flybe serves Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Exeter, Manchester, Norwich and Southampton.
- Jet2 serves Leeds (Bradford) and Manchester.
- Ryanair serves Glasgow (Prestwick), Shannon and Dublin.
